Factors affecting the decision to open a bank account of people in bien hoa city, dong nai province

ABSTRACT:

The study is to determine the factors affecting the decision to open a bank account of people in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. The study’s data are collected from 482 people in Bien Hoa City from January to May 2022. The study’s binary logistic regression analysis shows that the following factors: service quality, convenience, influence from other people, reputation image of the bank, promotion, and benefits all positively impact the decision of people in Bien Hoa City to open their bank accounts. These results suggest measures to managers of commercial banks to approach and maintain customers for their banks.
