[FAIE] FINAL ROUND OF THE “TALENTED CEO SEARCH” COMPETITION – SEASON 2
On the morning of 24 December 2024, at Hall A301, Campus 1, the Business Administration program, The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University organized the Final Round of the “Talented CEO Search” Competition – Season 2. The event attracted a large number of students, creating an engaging academic and skills-based platform.

Playing an important role in evaluating and inspiring the contestants, the Panel of Judges consisted of leading experts in management and entrepreneurship:
Mr. Nguyen Van Tan: Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Innovation Startup Advisory Council; Member of the National Innovation Startup Advisory Council (VSMA); Co-Head of the Design Thinking Village; Dean of The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University; Head of the Panel of Judges.
Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thuan: Director of Thien Long Long Thanh Co., Ltd.; Member of the Panel of Judges.
Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh: Chief Executive Officer of QMT-JP Plastic Joint Stock Company; Member of the Panel of Judges.
Mr. Tran Quang Huan: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chinh Nam Construction Design Joint Stock Company; Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Innovation Startup Advisory Council; Executive Committee Member of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association; Member of the Panel of Judges.
Mr. Pham The Linh: Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Linh One Member Company Limited; Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Innovation Startup Advisory Council; Head of the Bien Hoa City Young Entrepreneurs Sub-Association; Member of the Panel of Judges.

The competition took place through two challenging rounds:
Round 1:
English fluency: Contestants demonstrated their communication, presentation, and problem-handling skills in English, an essential attribute for a global CEO.
The art of leadership: Contestants were evaluated through simulated scenarios, showcasing their strategic thinking, management skills, and ability to inspire in a leadership role.

Round 2:
Behavioral response: The most outstanding contestants advanced to the decisive round, facing practical situational questions to demonstrate quick problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and the confidence of a future leader.

Participants not only demonstrated their competencies but also gained valuable learning experiences. The competition helped them improve teamwork and presentation skills, as well as their ability to perform under pressure. These practical experiences serve as valuable assets, enabling them to be more confident in their career journeys.
Final Results
First Prize: Student Vu Hoang Son – Class 22MK111.
Second Prize: Student Tran Manh Thang – Class 22QT111.
Third Prize: Student Mac Le Khanh – Class 23KQ111.
Sharing his thoughts after winning, student Vu Hoang Son – Class 22MK111 – stated: “Winning First Prize in this competition is a great honor for me. The competition gave me the opportunity to challenge myself and overcome my own limits. The moment I stood on the stage to receive the award, I not only felt proud but also became aware of a greater responsibility to continue developing myself. I understand that today’s success is the combination of personal effort, the support of lecturers, and the enthusiastic encouragement from friends. This will serve as motivation for me to strive further in my upcoming career journey.”
The competition was not only a platform for students but also an effort by The Faculty of Administration International Economics to create a practice-oriented learning environment that supports students’ comprehensive development. The success of Season 2 serves as motivation for the competition to return in the next season with even more promising innovations.
