Specialized Clubs at The Faculty of Administration International Economics – Where You Elevate Yourself to Conquer Employers

📌 A student who graduates with distinction from an ordinary university and a student who graduates with average results from a top-ranked university – whom will employers choose?

Specifically, a survey conducted by the Chronicle of Higher Education (USA) shows that employers generally pay little attention to whether you graduated from a prestigious university, what your graduation score was, or whether you ranked at the top or bottom of your class. What they truly seek in candidates is experience beyond academic knowledge, such as internships, part-time jobs, volunteer work, and other extracurricular activities. These experiences enable candidates to adapt more quickly to the workplace, possess soft skills that ensure professional working styles, and consequently reduce the company’s need to invest excessive effort, cost, and time in training.

In Vietnam, according to the results of a survey involving 139 recruiters of high-quality human resources in industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City, among the requirements for new graduates, the most highly valued criterion is soft skills; followed by pre-graduation experience; problem-solving skills; the reputation of the university; and lastly, professional expertise.

From these findings, Lac Hong University, particularly The Faculty of Administration International Economics, always creates the best conditions for students to develop skills and gain practical work experience from their first year.
