Vibrant Oriental Culture Festival 2025: Exchange – Connection – Sustainable Collaboration

On the morning of April 19, 2025, at Campus 1 of LHU, the Faculty of Oriental Studies hosted the 2025 Oriental Culture Festival - a unique and meaningful event that honors the traditional cultural values of East Asian countries. The event provided students, high schoolers, and international students with a valuable opportunity to deeply explore cultural beauty while fostering connections and mutual learning across generations of students.

As part of the program, at Auditorium A301, the final round of “Colors of the Orient” Competition where contestants showcased their talents, creativity, and pride in East Asian cultures, attracted enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines. The colorful performances honored the beauty of different nations while conveying a powerful message about cultural exchange and diversity in the region. Each team demonstrated their cultural knowledge, passion, and creativity through impressive performances, contributing to spreading a deep appreciation and pride in East Asian cultures.

Continuing the series of meaningful activities, at the Meeting Room, the Faculty of Oriental Studies solemnly held a MoU signing ceremony with several businesses, alongside the Industry Advisory Board meeting to gather feedback on developing program learning outcomes, aiming to update current trends and bridge the gap between education and labor market demands. The MoUs signed with enterprises including HUATEX Vietnam Co., Ltd., TOPBAND Smart Dong Nai Co., Ltd., FOSTER Electric Co., Ltd., Truc Nguyen International Travel and Trade Co., Ltd., and AMPACS International Co., Ltd. marks a significant milestone in strengthening the university - business partnership, with the goal of enhancing training quality and expanding career opportunities for students.

At the same time, in Room B203, the alumni gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Here, generations of alumni from the Faculty of Oriental Studies revisited cherished memories, shared valuable experiences, and fostered connections for the sustainable development of the alumni community.

Especially at the campus ground – a cultural experience space, Yukata, Hanbok, calligraphy, cuisine, traditional games, and many other activities came together to form a vibrant mini "East Asian Cultural Village".
